There’s a special kind of awesome that happens when someone takes their first laps on a racetrack. The nerves. The excitement. The grin. Want a front-row seat for that joy? Better yet, want to help make it happen? Welcome to SCCA® Track Night in America® Driven by Tire Rack (TNiA), where nobody needs a motorsports résumé to join the party.
Track Night was built around the concept that driving on a racetrack should be accessible to all. No previous track experience? No problem! Track Night offers fun-forward track time where a great attitude is all that’s needed. (Oh, and a car and a helmet, but that’s all.) Track Night supplies the rest.
The idea was a hit from day one. Over the past decade, over 90,000 drivers have sampled the good stuff at more than four dozen venues nationwide. Roughly 1,400 events have been made possible by the people who show up behind the scenes to keep the whole operation rolling.
The real horsepower behind Track Night’s success are the coaches, event leaders, administrators, photographers, and other dedicated enthusiasts who want to turn a few hours at the track into an experience other drivers can’t stop talking about.
Got a knack for helping others have a great time? Help newcomers find their feet, learn the ropes, and get the most out of their time behind the wheel. Prefer organizing the event? Event leadership and administrative support keep things running smoothly. Have an eye for a great shot? Photographers help capture the moments drivers will be bragging about long after the tires cool down. And if none of those roles quite fit, there are other ways to get involved, too.
As Track Night gets ready to roll into 2027, we’re looking for more good humans to join the crew. The mission is simple: combine enthusiasm with education, make every event welcoming, and send drivers home happy.
While several positions offer some form of compensation, all offer a chance to be part of something special.
